Senior Pricing Analyst

The Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, our client is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join its growing Pricing and Business Transformation team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze pricing, margins, customer trends, and product performance to identify opportunities to improve profitability.

• Help develop and implement pricing strategies across multiple product categories and customer segments.

• Utilize advanced Excel and data analytics to evaluate pricing effectiveness and support business decisions.

• Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Purchasing to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.

• Develop reporting and analytical tools to help leadership make informed pricing decisions.

• Participate in process improvement, automation, and technology initiatives designed to modernize pricing operations.

• Present findings and recommendations to management and key business partners.

• Support special projects and strategic initiatives with exposure to senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline.

• Approximately 4–5+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, business analytics, revenue management, or a related analytical role.

• Advanced Excel skills are essential, including the ability to work with complex datasets and develop meaningful analysis.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to see beyond the numbers, identify business opportunities, and make practical recommendations.

• Comfortable working across departments and communicating with various levels of management.

• Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, or pricing software is a plus, but not required.

• Distribution, manufacturing, or other product-based industry experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
