responsibilities
- draft and review estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, etc.)
- advise clients on estate and long-term care planning strategies under texas law
- manage matters from intake through execution with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- communicate clearly with clients, referral partners, and internal team members
- work efficiently in a transactional environment while maintaining high service standards
requirements
- active texas bar license and good standing
- 5+ years of texas estate planning experience
- strong working knowledge across related areas (trusts, probate, elder law/medicaid planning preferred)
- client-first mindset with empathy, patience, and professionalism (especially with elderly clients)
- organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple active files simultaneously
work environment
- full-time, onsite role (bellaire/houston area)

compensation & benefits
- competitive compensation (target base around $115,000, depending on experience)
