Responsibilities
- Defend insurance carriers and their insureds in a variety of litigation matters.
- Manage cases from initial assignment through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and exposure.
- Communicate effectively with clients, claims professionals, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Handle a caseload efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Ideal Candidate
- Licensed attorney in good standing.
- Experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or a related practice.
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Comfortable managing cases independently while working collaboratively with a team.
- Interested in continued professional growth and taking on increasing responsibility.
