Our client is seeking an experienced, highly organized Dispatcher to join their growing team! This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating daily operations, and excels at communication, problem-solving, and keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily driver schedules, routes, and service assignments to ensure timely and efficient operations

Dispatch drivers based on customer needs, driver availability, locations, and service priorities

Monitor routes, track service progress, and make adjustments to address scheduling or delivery issues

Assign and close service tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion

Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments regarding schedules, service updates, and operational needs

Troubleshoot delivery and pickup issues to minimize disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction
-
Review route paperwork, maintain accurate records, and update dispatching systems
-
Monitor driver performance and communicate concerns or service issues to management
-
Assist with emergency dispatch situations and provide operational support as needed

Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery
Qualifications
-
Previous dispatching, logistics, transportation, or route coordination experience preferred

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and making timely decisions

Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn dispatching and routing systems

Dependable, proactive, and able to work effectively with drivers and management
