Trial Paralegal – Commercial Litigation (Hybrid) | Houston, TX
A well-established downtown Houston law firm is hiring an experienced trial paralegal to support commercial litigation matters from case inception through trial/arbitration.
Comp: up to $120,000 base (DOE) + bonus potential (billable hours/collections)
Schedule: hybrid (4 days in office / 1 remote) | occasional OT/weekends during trial prep; some travel possible
What you’ll do
- Draft/file litigation documents (petitions, discovery, motions)
- Prep for depositions, hearings, trials/arbitrations (binders, exhibits, witness kits)
- Manage subpoenas, record requests/releases, and key case deadlines/calendaring
- Summarize deposition/medical records; build case timelines
- Coordinate experts and deliver case materials
- Handle ESI organization and document production using Relativity
- Research/cite-check as needed; communicate with clients/counsel professionally
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years trial/arbitration litigation paralegal experience (law firm)
- Relativity + strong discovery/trial prep skills
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and Word formatting (styles)
- Highly organized; thrives under deadlines
