Downtown Texas based firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its Complex Commercial Litigation practice,
seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its Complex Commercial Litigation practice, with exposure to bankruptcy and restructuring matters. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, sophisticated litigation and enjoys working closely with attorneys on high-stakes matters.
Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive paralegal support in complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal

Assist with all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, managing document collections, coordinating e-discovery vendors, and preparing document productions

Organize, analyze, and summarize large volumes of documents, financial records, and deposition transcripts

Assist with case management, including maintaining pleadings, exhibits, correspondence, and deadlines

Prepare and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts

Support attorneys in bankruptcy matters, including claim analysis, proof of claim preparation, docket monitoring, and coordination with bankruptcy counsel

Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness binders, and courtroom logistics

Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams in a professional and efficient manner

Perform legal research and factual investigation as needed

Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
Qualifications

Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
5+ years of experience as a paralegal in complex commercial litigation; bankruptcy experience strongly preferred

Demonstrated experience with e-discovery platforms and document management systems

Familiarity with federal and state court filing systems, including bankruptcy courts

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines

Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
