Business Development Officer – Title & Escrow (Florida)

About the Role
Are you a connected title and escrow professional with a proven track record of driving market growth? We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to expand our footprint across the Florida territory. In this high-impact, client-facing role, you will leverage your deep industry knowledge to build strategic, trusted partnerships with realtors, lenders, and builders. If you thrive in an autonomous, results-driven environment and possess a passion for relationship-based sales, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Drive Revenue: Execute targeted strategic plans to consistently meet or exceed monthly volume goals.
  • Lead Generation: Prospect and secure new business through cold calling, networking, and targeted referrals.
  • Partner Cultivation: Build and nurture high-value relationships with realtors, lenders, builders, and industry stakeholders.
  • Present Value: Deliver compelling sales presentations that articulate our unique service benefits.
  • CRM Management: Maintain precise client records and pipeline activities within the company CRM.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal escrow and closing teams to guarantee seamless client onboarding and exceptional service.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor local real estate trends and competitor activities to identify new growth avenues.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the brand at regional industry events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, and Realtor boards.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience strictly within the title insurance industry.
  • Book of Business: A verifiable active book of business yielding at least 5 closings per month at launch.
  • Skills: Advanced interpersonal, negotiation, and public speaking abilities.
  • Drive: Self-motivated mindset with a documented history of hitting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the designated Florida region.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent blend of professional work experience and training.
