RNG Originator – Compliance / Fleet Dispensing CNG /Transportation Markets – Houston, TX

Job Summary
Outstanding opportunity to go to marketing with the backing of a well-known and respected name in the RNG / CNG Dispensing space and with the confidence of reliable long term supply.  Client is an owner and operator of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities and RNG-related infrastructure across North America, with plans to produce up to 30 Bcf annually and expand commercialization efforts across a growing portfolio of environmental and energy assets.  

• Seeking an RNG Originator to support commercialization efforts and optimize RNG asset value within the North American Renewable CNG fleet dispensing market.
• Responsible for originating and executing long-term structured RNG transactions focused on fleet dispensing and transportation fuel markets.
• Work closely with operations, compliance, and commercial stakeholders to maximize portfolio optimization and market positioning.
• Maintain strong knowledge of compliance markets, renewable fuel regulations, and governing bodies impacting RIN pricing and environmental credit markets.
• Develop and leverage relationships with fleet operators, transportation fuel participants, marketers, compliance buyers, and industry counterparties.
• Understand federal and state renewable fuel legislation, tax incentives, and regulatory programs impacting RNG market economics.
• Structure innovative commercial transactions and identify creative growth opportunities within an entrepreneurial environment.
• Demonstrate strong relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills with both customers and internal business teams.
• Maintain proficiency with environmental attribute (EA) platforms, RNG chain-of-custody logistics, and renewable fuel transaction processes.
• Familiarity with ISCC certifications and renewable fuel compliance requirements preferred.
• Strong understanding of RNG pricing dynamics and value-sharing mechanisms within the CNG fleet dispensing market required.
• Ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in RNG sales, structured transactions, and environmental commodity markets.
• Must have an established network of industry buyers and commercial contacts within RNG, transportation fuels, or compliance markets.
• Candidate should be highly proactive, solution-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable making independent commercial decisions.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years of energy origination or related commercial experience required.
• Position operates in a hybrid office and plant/field environment with exposure to both commercial and operational teams.
