Asset Maintenance & Reliability Engineer
Direct Hire; up to 150K + bonus
Midland (highly preferred); Houston (80% travel to Midland)  

Duties:
 

  • Support implementation and use of CMMS (Maximo) for maintenance management
  • Develop and standardize maintenance strategies, job plans, task lists, BOMs, and maintenance intervals
  • Create inspection criteria and acceptance tests for new, repaired, or rebuilt equipment
  • Collaborate with Operations and HSEQ to improve mechanical integrity and asset reliability
  • Apply API 570 and API 650 standards in inspection and equipment evaluation
  • Utilize NDE methods to support inspection and assessment activities
  • Provide engineering support for failure analysis, inspections, and equipment upgrades or repairs
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for equipment failures
  • Support Asset Performance Management systems and reliability initiatives
  • Develop AFEs and manage schedules for maintenance and small OPEX projects
  • Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Assist with procurement strategy, vendor qualification, and performance evaluations
  • Evaluate and support adoption of new technologies and third-party solutions
  • Support de-bottlenecking and continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company standards

Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering
  • 5+ years of rotating equipment experience
  • Working knowledge of API 570 and API 650
  • Experience with rotating, static, and electrical equipment maintenance
  • Strong CMMS experience (Maximo preferred)
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and degradation mechanisms
  • Experience with RCA methodologies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel >50%
