Escrow Assistant – Galleria area

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and customer service-oriented? We are seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant to join our team. As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management, file maintenance, and customer service aspects of the escrow process. Your responsibilities will include handling deposits, disbursements, and reconciliation of funds within escrow accounts, maintaining accurate transaction records, providing support to clients, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating closing activities. If you have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience working as an Escrow Assistant
  • Proficiency in using SoftPro 
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Excellent file management abilities
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations in the escrow industry
  • Ability to coordinate closing activities efficiently
  • Proficient in document preparation for real estate transactions
  • Strong communication skills with various stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with verifying property details on documents
  • Familiarity with preparing closing packages and documents for recording
  • Previous interaction with insurance companies, lenders, and third-party stakeholders
  • Ability to track file status effectively

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience working in a real estate or escrow environment is a plus
