Business Development Representative
Flexible hourly; temp to hire
Central Houston; 1 day remote
Duties:
- Coordinate trucking customer setups, including processing required documentation
- Maintain internal systems (e.g., Tanklogix, SCADA/SOAP) for customer onboarding and tracking
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and route requests to appropriate stakeholders
- Partner with Business Development, Accounting, and Ticketing teams to resolve issues and update disposal codes
- Maintain organized records and documentation for customer accounts
- Support marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and networking opportunities
- Order and manage branded materials for clients and events
- Coordinate with field operations to ensure locations are stocked with necessary supplies
- Support commercial team strategies to increase trucking volumes
- Onboard operators for direct billing as needed
- Build and maintain relationships with trucking customers to drive volume growth
- Provide water takeaway solutions (truck, pipeline, recycle) for E&P customers
- Manage trucking and E&P accounts, resolving issues as they arise
- Collaborate with operations and engineering to ensure project and service delivery success
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and identify growth opportunities
- Develop and maintain pricing models; monitor regional pricing competitiveness
- Support contract negotiations and business partnership development
- Assist in sales pursuits within the midstream oil & gas market
- Represent the organization at networking and industry events
- Support Business Development team initiatives and overall operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related required
- Experience in midstream oil & gas or water midstream/upstream
- Background in scheduling or analytics within oil & gas marketing
- Knowledge of long-term contracts with E&P producers
- Ability to positively influence team performance and culture
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to travel as needed
