Plaintiff-side trial firm handling mass tort, toxic tort, pharmaceutical, and catastrophic injury litigation across multiple jurisdictions.


Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and litigate mass tort / product liability cases from intake through trial or resolution
  • Handle large dockets of cases (often 50–100+ depending on role seniority)
  • Conduct case development, including fact investigation and medical record analysis
  • Draft and argue:
    • Pleadings
    • Motions
    • Discovery
    • Depositions
  • Coordinate with:
    • Co-counsel across jurisdictions
    • Experts (medical, liability, damages)
  • Participate in trial preparation and trial work (firm is very trial-focused)
  • Negotiate settlements and maximize client recovery (including lien resolution strategy)
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional filings and deadlines

(These duties are inferred from both associate and paralegal roles supporting case-managing attorneys and full lifecycle litigation responsibility.)


Typical Qualifications

  • J.D. from accredited law school + licensed (TX or transferable)
  • ~2–5+ years of experience in:
    • Mass torts
    • Toxic torts
    • Asbestos / pharmaceutical litigation
    • OR complex plaintiff litigation
  • Strong experience with:
    • Discovery + depositions
    • Motion practice
    • Case management across large dockets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment
  • Trial experience or strong desire to try cases (big cultural point at this firm)
