Business Banking Relationship Manager – Austin, TX

We are seeking an experienced Business Banking Relationship Manager to support the growth, retention, and expansion of an existing portfolio of business banking clients while developing new business relationships through referrals and strategic networking efforts.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of Business Banking clients while sourcing new relationships through referrals and business development activities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by recommending banking products and financial solutions aligned with client objectives
  • Meet assigned revenue and portfolio growth goals for the region and product offerings
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business operations and personal financial needs
  • Conduct client visits on a regular basis to maintain and strengthen relationships
  • Build detailed client profiles and develop relationship management strategies for assigned accounts
  • Generate new business opportunities through centers of influence including CPAs, attorneys, and existing client relationships
  • Ensure client needs and requests are addressed promptly by coordinating with internal partners and resources
  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics related to portfolio growth, profitability, retention, and client satisfaction
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 6+ years of directly related business banking or commercial banking experience
  • Strong understanding of banking products, services, and relationship-based sales techniques
  • Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong PC and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment
