Field Service Technician – Industrial Equipment / Pressure Vessels (NOT IT)
Cypress, TX | Up to $55K | Up to 50% Travel
If you have experience working with industrial equipment, pumps, valves, or pressure vessels in plant or field environments, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a hands-on, technical role.
This is a field-based position supporting installation, inspection, and commissioning of filtration systems and pressure vessels — not a desk job and not an IT role.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer sites to support installation, inspection, and commissioning of filtration systems and pressure vessels
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting on pumps, valves, piping, and related equipment
- Take field measurements and document flow, pressure, and system conditions
- Support fabrication inspections of vessels and equipment at vendor sites
- Work with Engineering to understand system design and ensure proper installation
- Coordinate with plant personnel to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate field service reports and documentation
- Assist with equipment preparation, packaging, and loading (forklift use)
- Follow all safety procedures (OSHA and site-specific requirements)
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Field Service Technician / Mechanical Technician
- OR plant, refinery, or industrial environment
- Hands-on experience with:
- Pumps, valves, piping, or pressure vessels
- Basic understanding of:
- Flow, pressure, and fluid systems (liquids/gases)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working in the field and traveling up to 50%
- Ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions
Requirements
- High school diploma required (technical or associate degree is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain or hold a TWIC card
- Passport required
- Forklift experience preferred
