Field Service Technician – Industrial Equipment / Pressure Vessels (NOT IT)

Cypress, TX | Up to $55K | Up to 50% Travel

If you have experience working with industrial equipment, pumps, valves, or pressure vessels in plant or field environments, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a hands-on, technical role.

This is a field-based position supporting installation, inspection, and commissioning of filtration systems and pressure vesselsnot a desk job and not an IT role.


What You’ll Do

  • Travel to customer sites to support installation, inspection, and commissioning of filtration systems and pressure vessels
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting on pumps, valves, piping, and related equipment
  • Take field measurements and document flow, pressure, and system conditions
  • Support fabrication inspections of vessels and equipment at vendor sites
  • Work with Engineering to understand system design and ensure proper installation
  • Coordinate with plant personnel to ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate field service reports and documentation
  • Assist with equipment preparation, packaging, and loading (forklift use)
  • Follow all safety procedures (OSHA and site-specific requirements)

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in:
    • Field Service Technician / Mechanical Technician
    • OR plant, refinery, or industrial environment
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Pumps, valves, piping, or pressure vessels
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Flow, pressure, and fluid systems (liquids/gases)
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working in the field and traveling up to 50%
  • Ability to read drawings and follow technical instructions

Requirements

  • High school diploma required (technical or associate degree is a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain or hold a TWIC card
  • Passport required
  • Forklift experience preferred
