Our healthcare services client in West Houston is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning. This role partners closely with executive leadership and plays a key role in driving financial rigor, controls, and operational insights. This role will work a hybrid schedule working remote on Fridays. Salary is up to $175K depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close & reporting (GAAP & IFRS)

Lead general ledger, balance sheet governance, and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Oversee AP, AR, and cash management

Lead audits and partner with external auditors and advisors

Develop and mentor finance team members
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- CPA REQUIRED

8–12+ years progressive accounting & finance leadership experience

Strong GAAP, IFRS, and SOX expertise

Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and close cycles

ERP experience (QuickBooks or Sage)
