Water Transfer Operator
Direct Hire; up to 56K
Wink, Odessa, Pecos, Midland, or nearby
Duties
- Install, deploy, inspect, maintain, and repair layflat hose systems
- Monitor daily flow meter readings and pond levels
- Inspect water transfer lines and wells across multiple sites
- Perform pressure and rate testing of transfer lines
- Conduct spill containment and remediation as required
- Maintain trailers and ensure compliance with local weight regulations
- Operate skid steers, trailers, and hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Partner with third-party contractors to complete projects on schedule
- Support reuse water operations and participate in cross-training
- Submit accurate timesheets and adhere to assigned work schedules
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational policies
- Remain available for rotating schedule of 12 days on, 2 days off, and on-call as needed
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Oil and gas industry experience; 3 years preferred
- Knowledge of water transfer operations/oilfield facility processes; direct exp. preferred
- Understanding of tank gauging methods
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Ability to work on call as required
