Litigation Attorney (3–7 Years) | Houston, TX

Our client is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3–7 years of experience to join the Houston Galleria office. This role focuses on managing and resolving an active litigation docket, primarily involving real estate and foreclosure-related matters in state and federal courts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys moving cases toward resolution rather than focusing on business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a docket of 70–90 litigation files

  • Handle matters including pre-sale foreclosure litigation, post-sale evictions, judicial foreclosures, receiverships, and related probate matters

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and court filings

  • Appear in state and federal court hearings

  • Work with internal teams to resolve litigation and return files to standard processing

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of litigation experience

  • Experience with real estate, foreclosure, or creditor-side litigation preferred

  • Ability to independently manage a litigation docket

  • Strong writing and motion practice skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Litigation bonus potential (~12% of salary)
