Accounts Payable Support

Temp-to-Hire | Galleria Area | Fully In Office
Pay: Up to $24/hour
Schedule: Flexible start time options: 7am–4pm, 8am–5pm, or 9am–6pm

Position Summary

Immediate need for a dependable and professional Accounts Payable Support candidate to assist a busy AP team with invoice processing, coding, approvals, email/document handling, spreadsheet updates, and communication with internal contacts. This role is ideal for someone accurate, efficient, tech-savvy, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will be poised, well-spoken, dependable, drama-free, and comfortable learning company processes while supporting high-quality AP operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the AP team with a variety of accounts payable tasks
  • Receive and organize incoming invoices through email and hard copy documents
  • Manage invoice approvals, coding, and processing with strong attention to accuracy
  • Communicate professionally with regional contacts and internal team members
  • Provide thorough customer service and follow-up on invoice or approval-related items
  • Work in Excel spreadsheets and import data as needed
  • Maintain organized records and support AP documentation
  • Learn and follow company AP processes, best practices, and system procedures
  • Assist with additional administrative or accounting support tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Previous accounts payable, accounting support, invoice processing, or administrative accounting experience preferred
  • Tech-savvy with experience using Excel, Outlook, and AP processing software
  • Loan Vision experience is helpful, but not required
  • Must be dependable, accurate, efficient, and team-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, poised, and well-spoken
  • Quick learner with a strong work ethic and willingness to absorb company procedures
  • Must be able to work fully in office while training and ramping up
