Inventory Supervisor

Location: Wink, TX
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience

Summary

The Inventory Supervisor oversees day-to-day inventory and warehouse activities, including staffing, training, quality, and safety. This role administers inventory items and warehouse locations, drives accuracy through cycle counts and audits, and partners closely with operations and capital projects to keep material flowing efficiently.

Essential Duties

  • Assign labor and direct daily distribution tasks: receiving, picking, shipping, cycle counting, special projects, and housekeeping

  • Use the warehouse management system (NetSuite) to monitor and administer daily workload

  • Administer the warehouse training program; ensure procedures are current and required certifications remain valid

  • Audit picked product for accuracy and quality; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics

  • Maintain positive working relationships with Operations and Capital Projects; proactively resolve issues

  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed to support throughput

  • Communicate issues and concerns to leadership in a timely manner

  • Perform distribution-related administrative tasks and documentation

  • Investigate and resolve issues from cycle counts, warehouse damage, and supplier variances

  • Travel to supplier locations to count and receive drop shipments

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a supervisory role within warehousing/distribution

  • Basic understanding of pipe, valves, and fittings

  • Strong customer service and collaboration skills; effective with varied work styles

  • Clear communicator across all levels of the organization

  • Adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Professional, tactful, and discreet with sensitive/confidential information

  • Ethical, with strong pride of ownership in outcomes

  • Able to travel between the Wink and Felix locations as needed

  • Valid driver’s license and insurable by employer’s insurance provider to operate a company vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Continuous process improvement mindset

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent work habits and attendance

  • Industry knowledge in oil and gas services a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of NetSuite

Equipment Used

  • Forklifts and warehouse/material-handling equipment

  • Inventory ladder

  • Computer and multi-function copier/printer

  • Company vehicle

Physical Requirements

  • Standard office and warehouse environment

  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer

  • On-call availability at times for after-hours field emergencies

  • Ability to drive a vehicle

  • Ability to lift 15–50 lbs
