Job Summary
The Commercial Property Assistant supports daily operations of commercial properties in the Houston market by assisting with tenant relations, maintenance coordination, financial administration, and vendor management. This role works closely with the Property Manager to ensure properties are well maintained and tenants receive professional, responsive service.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with property operations, including work order coordination, inspections, and small project support.

Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests to support tenant satisfaction and retention.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice coding and rent follow-up.

Maintain accurate tenant, financial, and property records using software such as Yardi or similar systems.

Coordinate with local Houston vendors and contractors for maintenance and service needs.

Assist with lease administration, renewals, and tenant correspondence.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

1–3 years of property management or real estate administrative experience preferred.

Yardi or property accounting software experience is a plus.

Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
