EHSQ Coordinator Needed ASAP
Approx. 6 Mo contract
to $45 hourly
Clear Lake location

Join our team as an EHSQ  Coordinator and play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and directing our integrated management system to drive continuous improvement of products and processes. As the focal point for our Integrated Management System, you will lead quality initiatives, audits, and improvement projects to embed a culture of quality across our organization. If you are passionate about quality, environmental health & safety, and compliance management, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a significant impact.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or closely related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing within Quality Control/Quality Assurance environment
  • Understanding and experience of ISO concepts and requirements
  • Lead Auditor certification required
  • Training and experience in Root Cause Analysis

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Lead Auditor experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Responsible Care (RC14001/RCMS), and vendor auditing
  • Literate and experienced with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Responsible Care (RC14001/RCMS), etc.
  • Training and experience with Lean Six Sigma (desired but not required)
  • Possession of and willingness to spread a “customer-focus” vision
  • Strong facilitation and team-building skills
  • Facilitator of change
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Unwavering integrity
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of safety awareness
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft programs, working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint
