Loan Processing Assistant (2 openings) – On-site – Queens Village, NY

Overview:

Are you looking to kickstart your career in the finance industry?   We have two exciting openings for Loan Processing Assistants, one of which requires proficiency in Spanish. As a Loan Processing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting Loan Processors by handling administrative tasks, collecting applicant information, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help streamline the loan approval process, making a significant impact on our clients’ financial journeys.

Required Skills:

• Strong administrative and clerical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and third parties.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document verification.
• Familiarity with loan processing procedures and regulations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
• Previous experience in the finance or banking industry.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending processes.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of loan origination software is a plus.
