Are you detail-oriented, numbers-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced accounting environment? Our client is looking for a Cash Applications Lead to join their Credit team and ensure payments are processed accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail.

As a key part of our accounting operations, you’ll handle cash application, investigate discrepancies, and support the Accounts Receivable team in maintaining clean and accurate account records. If you enjoy solving puzzles, organizing information, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes—this role could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately process recurring credit card payments and customer remittances.

• Identify and resolve short pays, overpayments, and returned checks according to procedure.

• Maintain organized payment files and posting reports.

• Research and resolve account discrepancies in collaboration with AR specialists.

• Support the Credit Department with special projects and process improvements.

What You Bring

• Experience in cash application, AR, or a related accounting role.

• Strong data entry and Excel skills; experience with accounting software preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Customer service mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
