Remote Texas based Title Examiner – Commercial & Residential experience needed!!
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in title examination and abstracting
- Extensive knowledge of Texas property law and Texas Department of Insurance standards
- Experience with residential, farm and ranch, and commercial transactions
- Ability to interpret legal descriptions, surveys, plats, and property maps
- Proficiency in title software systems like SoftPro, halFILE, and public records databases
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with mineral rights, easements, and right-of-way research
- Certification from TLTA or similar organizations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Additional certifications and training in title examination
- Previous experience working remotely or in a virtual environment
Other Requirements:
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information
- Keep abreast of changes in Texas title laws and regulations
