Supervisor, Measurement
Direct Hire; up to 120K + bonus
Midland

Duties:
 

  • Supervise/coordinate activities of measurement technician; ensure efficiency and accuracy; manage scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency
  • Act as liaison between Management and Field Operations
  • Ensure Measurement Technicians are trained and address technical training
  • Liaise with Manager, Asset Integrity & Reliability to ensure measurement data quality in Maximo
  • Review and analyze measurement data to ensure quality and consistency
  • Enhance visibility and communication with leadership and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Assist in monthly financial and operational lease review meetings; provide support for expenses incurred
  • Ensure safety of personnel by monitoring and reporting safety hazards and concerns; assist in development of SOPs
  • Manage and maintain timecards of direct reports; verify timesheets are reviewed and approved following regulations and policies on accurate time tracking; ensure coverage by team including on call schedule
  • maintain qualified staff and manage employee productivity and scheduling
  • Ensures all work sites and employees maintain full compliance; set standard related to safety
  • Adhere and lead regarding KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations
  • Participate in performance management, hiring, development, and disciplinary processes

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s or Associates in electrical or electronic technology preferred; high school diploma required
  • 5 years oil and gas experience, with strong understanding of relevant concepts and procedures
  • Tech savvy with Microsoft Office Suite and Maximo or similar
  • Previous supervisory experience; excellent communication skills; passion for mentoring
  • Strong knowledge of measurement tools, techniques, and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organization; self-motivation and strong time-management skills
  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong critical and analytic skills
