AP Manager/Dallas Tx/Hybrid

Professional Alternatives, a boutique recruiting firm in Dallas, Texas specializing in the placement of accounting and finance professionals, has partnered with one of their premier clients to assist in the search for an Accounts Payable (AP) Manager. This role has been created due to the company’s continued expansion and growth and will report directly to the Controller.

THE ROLE

• AP Manager reporting to the Controller
• Lead and develop both local and remote team members
• Refine, streamline, and automate AP processes
• Role includes both strategic oversight and hands-on operational work

THE BACKGROUND

• Degree or some college preferred, but not required
• Inventory-related AP experience is required
• 8+ years of AP experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Comfortable partnering with technology—now and as systems evolve
• Proven change agent: adaptable, flexible, and proactive
• Strong ability to drive process and technology improvements
• Experience managing offshore or remote teams
• Manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site experience strongly preferred
