Electrical Supervisor – Oil and Gas/Water Midstream
Direct Hire; up to 160K + bonus
Wink, TX (candidates from Midland and surrounding should apply)

**Manage a team of 3 direct reports, with a total of 6 employees reporting up through the role
**Travel to South Texas, East Texas, Houston, and other locations for projects, site reviews, and collaboration

Duties:
 

  • Manage instrumentation, electrical and automation maintenance program
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems including motors, switchgear, transformers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control systems
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high voltage distribution power lines and poles
  • Collaborate with operations, engineers, & project managers to ensure electrical scopes align with project goals
  • Support electrical projects to ensure processes are running smoothly
  • Collaborate to maintain Input/Output (I/O) from device through PLCs and into SCADA systems
  • Lead and ensure team members are following company safety guidelines, policies & procedures
  • Coordinate daily proactive maintenance and repair, including calibration, systems modification site needs, contractor management, and work/quality inspection
  • Provide electrical maintenance and repairs; plan and allocate resources, tools, and materials for scheduled and unscheduled tasks; provide remote and onsite support for automation issues
  • Schedule and assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory state req.
  • Verify timesheets align with company policies (OT, PTO, sick, and holiday)
  • Adhere and lead by – KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations
  • Participate in performance management, hiring, development, and disciplinary processes

Qualifications:
 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Master Electrician License HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • High school diploma/GED required with Journeyman Electrician License
  • 10 years of oil and gas experience, with strong understand of relevel concepts and procedures
  • 3+ years of prior field instrumentation and electrical experience
  • Strong technical and computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Supervisory experience related to leading teams and meeting KPIs
  • Operate basic tools and oilfield and electrical related equipment
  • Strong organization, planning, and time-management; proactive problem-solver with strong critical and analytic skills
  • Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation interfaces, and SCADA/DCS systems
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt in fast-paced environments; strong communicator

  • Valid driver’s license required and insurable
  • Comfort driving a company vehicle
  • Reports to VP of Operations and the SVP of Operations
