Are you an experienced Commercial Property Accountant or Lease Specialist looking to join a fast-paced, growth-oriented commercial real estate team? We’re seeking a detailed, analytical professional to manage lease administration, CAM reconciliations, tenant billing, and property accounting for a diverse retail portfolio.

? What You’ll Do
• Abstract and interpret retail leases to accurately set up billing for base rent, CAM, taxes, insurance, and percentage rent.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly billing for operating expenses and pass-throughs.
• Complete annual and mid-year CAM reconciliations, including gross-ups, caps, and pro-rata share calculations.
• Manage A/R, coordinate collections, and support bi-weekly AR meetings.
• Assist with property budgets, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with lease terms—critical dates, co-tenancy, exclusives, kick-outs, options, and renewals.
• Reconcile GL accounts and resolve tenant billing disputes.
• Work closely with property managers on audits, estoppels, SNDAs, move-ins/outs, and tenant communications.
• Maintain clean, accurate lease and financial data in Yardi.
• Track amendments, addendums, certificates of insurance, commencement exhibits, and security deposits/LOCs.
• Conduct lease file audits and support due diligence for acquisitions/dispositions.
• Prepare reports including rent rolls, occupancy, expirations, market surveys, and stacking plans.
• Verify rental increases and send tenant notices.
• Audit operating expense billings—estimated and reconciled.
• Support day-to-day operations across the commercial real estate portfolio.
?? What We’re Looking For
• 3–5+ years of experience in commercial real estate accounting or lease administration
• Strong understanding of CAM, operating expense calculations, and retail lease language
• Experience with Yardi (or similar property management/accounting software)
• High accuracy, excellent follow-through, and strong analytical skills
• Ability to interpret complex leases and communicate clearly with tenants and internal teams
