AP Accountant opening with a design and manufacturing company

Great Upper Heights office location | Fully in-office
Up to $60k based on experience + a full benefits package!

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AP Accountant to manage Intercompany Payables, Vendor Payables, Inventory, and general accounting functions. Beyond daily operations, you’ll play a key role in financial analysis, reconciliations, and process improvements while supporting special projects and initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the Intercompany AP process, ensuring accurate invoice posting, reconciliations, and payment tracking.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in pricing, quantities, and postings.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through costing verification and monthly adjustments.
  • Reconcile major vendor statements and provide financial reports to management.
  • Reconciliation of key vendor accounts.
  • Oversee purchase orders, manage unreceived items, and ensure accurate expense tracking.
  • Support month-end close, audits, and internal reporting.
  • Uphold accounting policies and controls while safeguarding financial data.
  • Assist with AP functions, including vendor payments, check runs, cash applications and documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
  • Monthly reconcilition of AP related accounts and ownership of AP aging.
  • Clean up of internal processes and AP controls.
  • Assist with annual financial and bank audits when required.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience (Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong analytical mindset with sharp problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
  • Detail-driven, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in Netsuite
